Note from the site administrator: The thing that I really like about Switched on Schoolhouse language arts is that I don't have to drill my kids in spelling words. The curriculum takes care of that for me by offering the "spelling bee" game for drilling words, as well as a great deal of repetition with the words. I really like the Switched on Schoolhouse program to emphasize spelling. We use it in our homeschool.

Note from the Site Administrator: At this age, it might be a good idea to get some multiplication flash cards to emphasize multiplication facts. I didn't feel that the curriculum drilled my daughter in multiplication facts enough at this age, so we used flash cards. Otherwise, we really liked the SOS 4th Grade math.
